The Energy company obligation (ECO) is a government-backed scheme where qualifying homeowners could have their inefficient boilers replaced free of charge or heavily subsidised.

Boiler FAQs
Our boiler grant process is simple and straightforward:
- Complete our 60 second eligibility check.
- An advisor will be in touch within 48 hours to confirm funding (subject to survey)
- Arrange a no obligation free survey.
- Arrange a convenient installation date
Energy saving measures available under the ECO scheme include Funded Boilers, Free Cavity Wall, Underfloor and Loft insulation. If you have never had central heating in your home, you may qualify for a ‘first time central heating’ grant.
The original scheme started in 2013, the current scheme, ECO3, started in late 2018 and is scheduled to run until March 2022, however funding can be pulled at any time.

The Eco scheme is funded by the major energy suppliers in the UK, major is termed as having over 150,000 customers. These are currently the ‘big 6’ energy companies, British Gas, Scottish Power, N Power, EDF, SSE and E-on as well as several others such as Octopus Energy & Shell Energy.
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a Government backed energy efficiency scheme in the UK, it’s aim is to reduce carbon emissions and help eradicate fuel poverty. The current incarnation is ECO3 and is scheduled to run from Autumn 2018 until March 2022.
